                           Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

    3      cups          flour
    2      cups          sugar
    3                    eggs
    1 1/2  teaspoons     baking powder
    1 1/2  teaspoons     salt
    1 1/2  tablespoons   poppy seeds
    1 1/2  cups          milk
      3/4  cup           oil
    1 1/2  teaspoons     vanilla
    1 1/2  teaspoons     lemon extract
 
 Combine all ingredients.  Beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes on medium.
 Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.  Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until
 inserted toothpick comes out clean.   These freeze very well.  Yield: 2 loaves
