                            Cracklin Corn Bread

    1      Tablespoon    Lard (shortening:)
    1      Cup           Self rising cornmeal
    1      Cup           Self rising flour
    1      Tablespoon    Sugar
    2                    Eggs
    1 1/2  Cups          Buttermilk -- or sweet milk
      1/2  Cup           Cracklins  :)
 
 Put lard in a 6 x 12 inch loaf pan and let it melt.
 Mix all other ingredients together well. Pour the batter into the pan 
 and bake in 425^ degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Source: Best of the
