           Whole Wheat Hamburger And Hot Dog Buns - 1 1/2 Pounds

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1      Large         Egg
      3/4  Teaspoon      Salt
      1/4  Cup           Shortening
      1/4  Cup           Sugar
    2      Cups          Flour, All-Purpose
    1      Cup           Flour, Whole-Grain Wheat
    3      Teaspoons     Yeast
    1      Cup           Water -- warmed
 
      Place ingredients in bread pan in order listed.
      Set at dough setting.
      When done for hamburger buns cut and shape into 10 pieces.
      For hot dog buns cut and shape into 12 pieces.
      Grease baking sheet.  Roll pieces of dough into balls and flatten 
 for shape.  Place on prepared sheet (lightly spray cookie sheet with 
 pam).  Cover and let rise in a warm place for approx. 1 hour.  Bake at 
 400 for 12 - 15 minutes until golden brown.  Cool on racks.

 NOTES : Don't make buns to large because they get bigger during the 
 second rise.
