                         Walnut Praline Cheesecake

      3/4  cup           graham cracker crumbs
      1/2  cup           walnuts -- toased, finely chopd
      1/4  cup           firmly packed brown sugar
      1/4  cup           margarine -- melted
   24      ounces        cream cheese -- softened
   14      ounces        sweetened condensed milk
    3                    eggs
    2      teaspoons     vanilla
                         -TOPPING-
      1/3  cup           firmly packed dark brown sugar
      1/3  cup           whipping cream
      1/2  cup           chopped toasted walnuts
 
 Preheat oven to 300 f. Combine crumbs, walnuts, sugar and margarine. Press
 into a 9 springform pan. In large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy.
 Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, then eggs nad vanilla until
 smooth. Pour into pan. Bake for 55 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Top
 with Walnut Praline Topping. chill. Refrigerate leftovers.
 Walnut Praline Topping: In saucepan, combine 1/3 cup each fimrly packed dark
 brown sugar and whipping cream. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves. Simmer
 for 5 minutes or until thickened. Add 1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts.
