       Title: Applesauce Cookies

       1 c  All-purpose flour; sifted
     3/4 c  Whole-wheat flour; sifted
     3/4 ts Baking soda
     1/2 c  Oat bran
     1/4 c  Rolled oats; quick
   1 1/4 ts Ground cinnamon
     1/4 ts Ground cloves
     1/2 c  Packed brown sugar
     1/4 c  Canola oil
     1/4 c  Honey
       1 lg Egg white
   1 1/2 c  Unsweetened applesauce
     1/2 c  Raisins; optional
            Vegetable cooking spray

      Preheat oven to 350F. Sift both flours and baking soda together. Stir in
   the oat bran, rolled oats, cinnamon, and cloves. In a large bowl, mix the
   brown sugar, oil, honey, egg white, and applesauce together. Stir in the
   flour mixture. Stir until everything is thoroughly mixed. Mix in the
   raisins. Spray cookie sheets with vegetable cooking spray. Drop
   teaspoonsful of dough about 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheets. Bake for
   10-12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet immediately. Yield: 50 cookies
   NOTES : This spicy, soft cookie is filled with the good taste and nutrition
   of apples.
