                               POTATO SCONES

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1       lb           Potatoes
      1/2   ts           Salt
    1       c            Wholewheat flour
 
   Cook the potatoes until tender.  Peel them & mash
   them.  This can be done ahead of time, or use leftover
   potatoes. Add the salt & flour to the potatoes & knead
   the mixture well.  Roll it out thinly on a floured
   board & cut into rounds or triangles. Bake at 500F for
   10 minutes, turning them after 5 minutes.  Serve warm
   with golden syrup or jam.
