                           NECTARINE-PEACH CRISP

    1      cup           Flour
      1/3  cup           Granulated sugar
    4      tablespoons   Butter
      1/2  cup           Walnuts -- fruit mixture--
    2      pounds        Ripe peaches
    2      pounds        Ripe nectarines
    1 1/2  tablespoons   Flour
    1      tablespoon    Sugar
 
 TOPPING: Mix flour and sugar in a bowl. Cut butter into small oieces;
 mix into flour by rubbing into flour mixture with fingertips. Add nuts.
 Preheat oven to 375~.
 
  FRUIT MIXTURE: Cut fruit in half, peel and cut into slices. Mix with
 flour and sugar. Spread peaches in a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle
 topping over fruit and bake until fruit is bubbly.
