       Title: PRALINES #1

       Yield: 1 Servings
  
   1 1/2 c  Sugar
     1/3 c  New Orleans Molasses
       1 c  Light cream or 1/2 cup
            -heavy cream and 1/2 cup
            -milk
            -(probably can play with
            -this proportion and affect
            -the
            -richness)
       1 tb Butter
            -dash of nutmeg
   1 1/2 c  Pecan meats, coarsely
            -chopped
  
    Combine sugar, molasses, cream, butter and nutmeg in a 2 qt saucepan.
   Bring to a boil and continue to boil over medium heat, stirring
   occasionally to 240 degrees (mixture forms a firm ball in cold water) 35 to
   40 minutes.
    Remove from heat and let stand 3 minutes. Add the nuts and drop the
   mixture from a teaspoon onto waxed paper or foil
   
    Yield: about 30 pralines
