                         Sizzling Goat Cheese Salad

    1                    egg
    1      tablespoon    water
    2      tablespoons   cornmeal
    1      tablespoon    bread crumbs
    1      tablespoon    sesame seeds -- toasted
    1      tablespoon    Parmesan cheese -- grated
    8      ounces        goat cheese
    2      tablespoons   butter
                         torn mixed salad greens
                         vinaigrette dressing
 
 1) In a small bowl combine egg and water. In a shallow bowl combine 
 cornmeal, bread crumbs, sesame seeds, and parmesan cheese.
 
 2) Divide the goat cheese into 16 equal portions; shape into balls 
 and flatten into 1 1/4 diameter patties. Dip each patty into the egg 
 mixture; coat with cornmeal mixture.
 
 3) In a large skillet, melt butter.  Add cheese patties and cook over 
 medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes or till golden, turning once.
 
 4) Arrange on top of salad greens. Drizzle with vinaigrette dressing.
