                                 Ramp Salad

 --------  ------------  --------------------------------
                         Ramps -- cut fine
                         Salt -- to taste
                         Ham Pieces
                         Vinegar
                         Hard-Boiled Eggs -- sliced
 
 Cook West Virginia mountain ramps until tender, but do not parboil. 
 Season with salt, ham fryings, and vinegar.  Garnish with sliced,
 hard-cooked eggs.  Serve warm as a salad.
