a mess of mesclun lettuce (not to be confused with mescaline, 
        but if you use the latter,  you won't need the rest of the 
        ingredients.  If you don't like baby lettuces, use butter
        leaf and romaine)
 1 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts
 1/2   medium red onion, sliced thin into rings
 1 1/2 cup celery, diced
 1     cup jicama, sliced thin into 1/2 strips
 1 1/2 cup ripe, but not mushy nectarine wedges
 
 Put the above ingredients in a large bowl and toss with <a
href=“/side-dishes/dressings/peach-dijon1.html”>Peach-Dijon dressing</a>.
