                             MOM'S FRUIT SALAD

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1      package       lemon pie filling -- NOT instant
      1/2  pound         miniature marshmallows
    1      large can     fruit cocktail -- drained
      1/2  cup           pineapple chunks -- drained
    1      cup           seedless grapes
    1      cup           whipped cream*
                         sliced bananas, dipped in lemon juice -- for topping
 
 Prepare pie filling according to package directions; cool.  Add fruit
 cocktail, pineapple, grapes and marshmallows.  Mix well; refrigerate
 overnight.
 
 Just before serving fold in whipped cream* and top with banana slices (dipped
 in lemon juice to prevent browning).
 
 *Whip cream with sugar according to your sweetness preference.  Cool Whip may
 be used.

 NOTES : If you want to wimp out and use instant pudding and Cool Whip, it
 will be OK but VERY sweet.
