                Stuffed Bell Pepper With Corn Bread Dressing

    1      Doz.          medium bell peppers (plus 4 to cut for
                         seasoning)
    1      Lb.           ground beef
    1      Lb.           shrimp
    2      Slices        raw ham
                         salt -- cayenne pepper and
                         sugar to taste
    1      Medium        onion
    2                    toes garlic
      1/2  Bunch         shallots
      1/2  Bunch         parsley
    1      Tbsp.         thyme
    1      Small Box     corn bread mix -- (4 oz.)
    4      Tsp.          sugar
 
 Prepare corn bread mix (add 4 teaspoons of sugar); bake
 and let cool. Cut bell peppers in half; wash and clean.
 Saute ground beef, onions, garlic, and bell peppers until done.
 Add shrimp, parsley (chopped), shallots, salt, and cayenne
 pepper. Crumble cornbread in pan, add ground beef mixture; mix
 together and stuff bell peppers. Steam for 15 minutes before
 serving.
 This dressing can also be used for stuffing chicken
 breast, and the shrimp may be omitted and oysters substituted
 when preparing dressing for chicken or turkey.
