                              Grandma’s Beans

    1      package       (1 lb.) frozen green beans
      1/2  cup           flour
      1/2  stick         margarine
                         Vinegar to taste
 
 Cook green beans until tender.  While beans are cooking, brown flour in skillet
  on low heat, stirring constantly.  After flour has browned, add margarine.  Mi
 xture will become pasty, thin mixture with water that beans were cooked in unti
 l it becomes a smooth sauce.  Drain remaining water from beans.  Add beans to f
 lour mixture.  Add vinegar to taste; heat thoroughly, serve.
 
  This recipe can be easily doubled to accommodate for larger servings.
