                          STEWED OKRA AND TOMATOES

    1       md           Onion, chopped
    2       tb           Oil
    1       pk           Okra, 10 oz.
    1       c            Tomatoes, 16 oz.
      1/2   ts           Salt
      1/4   ts           Pepper
 
   Cook onion in fat in saucepan over moderate heat until
   lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients and cook
   until okra is tender and mixture thickens, 10 to 15
