      title: sausage stuffed onions

       4 ea yellow onion
     1/2 lb pork sausage
 peel onions 
 parboil in boiling salted water for 20 minutes
 drain well and allow to cool slightly 
 core onions, remove with a fork 
 spoon sausage into onions 
 place into a buttered casserole 
 bake @ 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until sausage is well done 
 drain on a cooling rack and blot with paper towels 
 serve hot
