                            Stewed New Potatoes

   10                    new potatoes -- scraped or peeled
                         (10 to 12)
    3                    spring onions with tops -- sliced
    3                    boiled eggs
      1/4  Stick         butter or bacon drippings
    1      Tbsp.         cornstarch
 
 Salt and pepper potatoes and onions to taste. Place
 these in pot and cover with water; add butter. Boil until
 tender. Slice boiled eggs over top and thicken gravy with
 cornstarch. More water may be added for amount of gravy
 desired.
