                              Squash Casserole

    1      Lb            Yellow Squash -- Chopped (About 4 Sm.
    1      Whole         Onion -- Chopped
    3      Tbsp          Butter Or Margarine
    2      Whole         Eggs -- Beaten
      1/2  C             Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
    1      Tsp           Salt
    1      C             Milk
    1      C             Cracker Crumbs -- (Saltines)
           Dash          Pepper
 
 Preheat oven to 375 F.
 Combine squash, onion, & butter in a skillet.
 Saute until squash is tender, then coarsely mash with fork.
 Add remaining ingredients.
 Pour into greased casserole dish.
 Bake at 375 degrees until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
 Let sit 5 min. before serving.
