    2      pounds        frozen beef brisket (or 3 lbs)
    1      cup           lima beans -- * see note
    2                    onions -- sliced
    1      cup           water
    1      teaspoon      garlic salt
      1/4  teaspoon      pepper
      1/4  teaspoon      paprika
 
 serves 4 to 6
 
 * lima beans must be completely soft before using
 
 Trim all excess fat from brisket.  Combine softened lima beans, onions and wate
 r in Crock-Pot; mix well.  Add brisket and seasonings. Cover and cook on Low fo
 r 16 to 24 hours.  Serve slices meat over limas and onions with the natural jui
 ces over all.
