                            Savory Crockpot Stew

    2      pounds        beef stew meat -- cut into pieces
      1/4  cup           flour
    1      teaspoon      paprika
      1/2  teaspoon      pepper
    1                    bay leaf
    1      clove         garlic
    3                    potatoes -- diced
    1      stalk         celery -- sliced
    2                    onions -- chopped
    1      teaspoon      soy sauce
   12      ounces        beef stock
 
 Stir mixture of flour, paprika and pepper to coat meat in a slow cooker.  Stir 
 in other ingredients and mix well.  Cover and ook on high heat for 4 to 6 hours
 , or on medium heat for 6 to 8 hours, or on low heat for 10 to 12 hours.
 
 Remove garlic glove and bay leaft before serving.
