                       Impossible Ham & Broccoli Pie

    1 1/2   c            Frozen broccoli, thawed
      1/2   c            Low-fat cottage cheese
    3       tb           Parmesan Cheese
    8       oz           Full cooked center slice ham
                         (lean)
    1       tb           Chopped dried onion or
    3       tb           Fresh chopped onion
      1/2   ts           Salt
      1/4   ts           Pepper (or cayenne)
    4       oz           Low-fat cheese, grated
    1       c            Skim or non-fat milk, minus
                         2 tbsp.
    2       oz           (scant 1/2) Buttermilk
                         Baking mix
    2                    Eggs
 
   Chop ham, add onion, salt, pepper.  Layer on bottom of
   13 x 9 pan the cottage cheese and parmesan.  Next
   layer the broccoli, ham onion, salt and pepper.  Top
   with half the cheese.  Beat milk, baking mix, and
   eggs. Pour over the top.  Bake at 350 degrees for
   35-40 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out
   clean.
