                            Asparagus Ham Quiche

    2      packages      asparagus spears -- frozen, 10 oz.,
    1      pound         ham -- cooked, chopped
    2      cups          swiss cheese -- shredded
      1/2  cup           onion -- chopped
    6                    eggs
    2      cups          milk
    1 1/2  cups          buttermilk baking mix
    2      tablespoons   dried vegetable flakes
      1/4  teaspoon      pepper
 
 In two greased 9 inch pie plates, layer the asparagus, ham, cheese, and onion. 
  In a bowl, beat eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Divide in half a
 nd pour over asparagus mixture in each pie plate.  Bake at 375 for 30 minutes o
 r until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.  Source:  Taste of Ho
