                              Artichoke Quiche

    1      package       frozen artichoke hearts or
    1      can           plain artichoke hearts -- (NOT marinated)
    2                    eggs
      1/4  teaspoon      crushed tarragon
      1/4  teaspoon      nutmeg
      1/2  teaspoon      salt
    1 1/2  tablespoons   melted butter
      1/2  tablespoon    flour
    1      cup           half & half
      1/2  pound         Swiss cheese -- sliced
    1                    uncooked pie crust
 
 Layer hearts (break apart) and cheese slices in raw pie crust. There will be 4 
 layers with hearts on bottom, next cheese, then hearts and finishing on top wit
 h cheese. Beat and pour remaining ingredients over top. Bake at 375 degrees for
  40 minutes until top is browned. Let set for several minutes before cutting. R
