                                   Quiche

    1                    pie crust, frozen (deep dish)
    1      package       frozen chopped spinach -- drained thoroughly
    1      medium        vidalia onion -- quartered and sliced
    1      tablespoon    butter
    4      ounces        cooked ham -- diced fine
    1      can           mushroom slices -- drained thoroughly
    4      ounces        bacon -- fried and crumbled
    8      oz            Swiss cheese -- shredded
    4                    eggs
    1      cup           heavy cream
      1/4  teaspoon      nutmeg
    1      pinch         salt
      1/4  teaspoon      freshly ground white pepper
 
 Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
 
 Saute onion in butter. Layer in the pie shell in this order; spinach, 
 onion, ham, mushrooms, bacon and swiss cheese. Next combine eggs, heavy 
 cream, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly, do not over beat as to produce a 
 foam. Pour egg mixture over layered ingredients in pie shell. Bake at 450 
 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and bake an additional 40 minutes.
