                           Smothered Steak Strips

    2      lbs           chuck roast -- cut in 1 strips
      1/2  c             flour
      1/2  tsp           salt
      1/2  tsp           pepper
    1      lg            onion
    2      lg            green peppers
      1/2  c             ketchup
    1      c             barbecue sauce
      1/2  c             water
    4      ozs           mushrooms, canned
    1      tbsp          molasses
    2      tbsps         brown sugar
    1      tbsp          soy sauce
 
 Place steak strips, flour, salt, and pepper in slow cooker. Stir well to coat
 steak. Slice onions and pepper very thin. Add the rest of the ingredients.
 Cover, cook on high for 1 hour, low for 8 hours. Serve over rice, noodles,
 potatoes, or with crusty bread. Also makes a good sandwich filling.
