SOURDOUGH STEAK

3 lb Round steak [1″ thick]
1 c Flour
2 ts Onion salt
2 ts Paprika
1 t Pepper
1 c Sourdough starter [recipe
-follows]
3/4 c Shortening
1) Using a meat tenderizing mallet or knife, pound
steak to " thick... and cut into serving pieces... 2)
Combine flour and seasonings, and dip steak pieces in
sourdough starter then in flour mixture... 3) Fry in
about 1″ of hot shortening... and serve
