                         garlic cloves
    1      teaspoon      soda
    1 1/2  teaspoons     salt
    1      teaspoon      thyme
      1/2  teaspoon      basil
    1      pound         ground beef
      2/3  pound         ground pork
 
 In blender, make a thin water and garlic paste.  Add beef stock, salt,
 soda, and spices.  Mix well.  Add meats.  Mix.
