        1  c.            mushrooms -- chopped                                   
        2                green onions -- chopped                                
        4  tbsp.         butter                      
        4  tbsp.         flour                                                  
                         Pinch thyme       
      1/2  c.            dry white wine                                         
        1  c.            cream or evaporated milk                               
                         Salt                                                   
           Dash          cayenne pepper                                         
      1/2  lb.           crab meat      
                         Parmesan cheese                                        
                                                                                
 
  Cook mushrooms and onions in butter until tender.  Blend in flour
  and thyme.  Stir in cream or milk and stir constantly until thick
  and bubbly.  Remove.  Add wine.  Season to taste with salt and
  pepper.  Stir in crab meat.  Spoon into crab shells or ramekins. 
  Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.  Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes
  until top is slightly browned.  Port Mansfield, Texas
