                             Fettucine Alfredo

    2      tablespoons   butter
    8      ounces        fettucine
    1 1/2  cups          cream
      1/2  cup           parmesan cheese -- grated
 
 Cook the fetucine noodles in lightly salted, boiling water until
 tender.  Strain noodles and rinse with cold water.  Place butter in
 saute pan; add salt and pepper to taste.  Add cream and bring sauce to
 a boil at a medium heat.  Allow sauce time to thicken.  Add fettucine
 and parmesan cheese.  Stir and serve.
