                                Gon Lo Mein

    1      package       (10 oz.) ready to eat chow mein noodles
      1/4  cup           oyster sauce
    2      teaspoons     sesame oil
    1      cup           bean sprouts
      1/3  cup           sliced fresh mushrooms
      1/4  cup           thinly sliced celery
      1/2  cup           thinly sliced carrot
      1/2  cup           sliced green beans
    2                    green onions -- chopped
      1/8  teaspoon      salt
      1/2  teaspoon      aji -- (optional)
      1/4  pound         char siu -- thinly sliced
 
 Place noodles in a large, shallow casserole dish.  Combine sesame oil and oyste
 r sauce; stir into noodles.  Add the remaining ingredients except the bean spro
 uts.  Cover dish and cook in microwave oven 5 minutes.  Stir; add the bean spro
 uts and cover again.  Cook for another 2-2 1/2 minutes, or until bean sprouts a
 re slightly wilted but crisp.
