 --------  ------------  --------------------------------
   16      oz.           loaf      bread dough, frozen;
                         white or whole wheat -- thawed
    2      tablespoons   butter -- melted
      1/3 cup cooked ham -- chopped fine
    3      slices        bacon, cooked;
                         drained, crumbled
      1/2 cup stuffed green olives -- chopped
      1/3  cup           golden raisins
      1/3  cup           parmesan OR
                         romano cheese -- fine shreds
      3/4  cup           mozzarella  OR
                         provolone cheese -- shredded
      3/4  cup           fontina cheese
    1                    egg

 1. Line a 15x10x1 inch baking pan with foil. Grease foil;
 set aside.
 2. Divide dough in half. Roll each half of dough into a
 10x8 inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Brush 1
 tablespoon of the butter over each dough rectangle, leaving
 a 1 inch plain border. Sprinkle each rectangle evenly with
 ham, bacon, olives, raisins, and parmesan or romano cheese.
 Top with mozzarella or provolone cheese and fontina cheese.
 3. Carefully fold edges of short sides over filling about 1
 or 2 inches; roll up jelly-roll style, beginning with a
 long side. Moisten edges and ends with water and pinch to
 seal. Carefully place rolls, seam side down, on the
 prepared baking sheet. Cover and let rise in a warm place
 until nearly double (about 30 minutes). Combine egg and 1
 tablespoon water; brush over loaves.
 4. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 30 minutes or until
 golden brown. Cool on a wire rack about 30 minutes before
 slicing. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Cover and chill any
 leftovers. Makes about 40 servings. Formatted by Lynn
