       2 c  sweet red onion
       1 t  garlic
     1/2 c  green bell pepper
       4 oz canned diced mild green chil
       2 t  jalapeno chile
       1 c  plum tomato
       1 c  light brown sugar
       1 t  cumin
 
 combine ingredients-mix well 
 cover and chill for at least 3 days, allowing flavors to meld serve
 slightly chilled or at room temperature
  (alternately used as a basting sauce for grilling)
