                        Toasted Almond Party Spread

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method
 --------  ------------  --------------------------------
    8      ounces        cream cheese
    6      ounces        Swiss cheese -- shredded
      1/3  can           Miracle Whip=AE
    2      tablespoons   grreen onion -- chopped
      1/8  teaspoon      nutmeg
      1/8  teaspoon      pepper
      1/3  can           almonds -- toasted & sliced
 
 Combine all ingredients, mix well & spread into a 9 inch pie plate.
 Bake at 350* for 15 minutes. Stirring after 8 minutes Garnish with =
 
 additional toasted almonds, if desired. =
