                              Boozeless Julep

    1      pound         granulated sugar
    6      cups          water
    1 1/4  ounces        pure lime juice concentrate
    8 1/2  ounces        lemonade concentrate
      3/4  cup           creme de menthe topping*
 
 *available at most gourmet grocers
 1.  In a saucepan, combine sugar and water and mix thoroughly until sugar disso
 lves.  Add lime juice and lemonade concentrates and the creme de menthe topping
 .  Bring mixture to just below the boiling point.  Chill.
 2.  To serve, mix 5 parts of water to 1 part syrup.  Yield: 2 quarts syrup
