       1    egg
     1/2 c  onion
       1 t  garlic
       2 c  vegetable oil
     1/2 c  buttermilk
       2 t  white pepper
       1 t  salt
     1/2 t  cayenne
     1/2 lb blue cheese
 
 combine egg, onions, and garlic in a food processor
 process until well blended 
 with machine running, add oil then buttermilk in a thin-steady stream 
 season with salt, white pepper, and cayenne-mix well 
 add cheese and pulse just to mix 
 cover and chill for 2-48 hours
 serve slightly chilled
