                       My Mother’s Wine Jelly Recipe

    2      Env           Unflavored Gelatin
      1/2  C             Cold Water
    1      C             Boiling Water
    1 2/3  C             Sherry
    3      Tbsp          Brandy
    1      C             Sugar
      1/3  C             Orange Juice
    3      Tbsp          Lemon Juice
                         <For Serving>
                         Sweetened Whipped Cream -- <Or>
                         Boiled Custard
 
 Soften gelatin in cold water.  Dissolve in boiling water.  Add sherry,
 brandy, sugar, orange juice, and lemon juice.  Pour in mold and chill until
 set.  Serve with sweetened whipped cream, flavored with sherry or brandy,
 or boiled custard.
 
 Serves 6 to 8
