                               BREAD PUDDING

                         ***Pudding***
    1                    loaf day-old French bread
    1      quart         milk
    3                    eggs
    2      cups          sugar
    2      tablespoons   vanilla
    3      tablespoons   margarine -- melted
    1      cup           raisins
                         ***Sauce***
    1      cup           sugar
    1                    egg
    1      stick         margarine -- melted
    1      jigger        bourbon
 
 Pudding:
 
 Crumble French loaf with hands into a large bowl, and soak in quart of milk. Ad
 d eggs, sugar, vanilla, margarine, and raisins. Pour into a thick pan. Bake at 
 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
 
 Sauce:
 
 Cream the egg and sugar together. Add the margarine and bourbon, and stir until
  smooth.
