                          Apple Pudding with Sauce

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method
 --------  ------------  --------------------------------
      1/4  cup           butter
      3/4  cup           sugar
    1                    egg
    2      cups          grated raw apples
    1      cup           flour
    1      teaspoon      baking soda
      1/2  teaspoon      cinnamon
      1/4  cup           nuts -- chopped
                         SAUCE:
      1/4  cup           margarine
      1/4  cup           sugar
      1/4  cup           evaporated milk -- or evap. skim milk
      1/4  cup           brown sugar
 
 Cream together: butter and sugar. Add egg, apple, flour, baking soda,
 cinnamon and nuts. Put in greased 8x8 baking pan. Can use mold or Bundt
 pan. Bake at 350 F. for 30-35 minutes. Add 20 minutes for mold or Bundt pan.
 Pudding should be firm in the center. Serve with warm butter sauce.
 Sauce: Heat together margarine, white and brown sugar and evaprated milk.
 Pour over pudding to serve.

 NOTES : Recipe can easily be doubled and baked in a 9x13 baking pan.
