                  Sherbanu'’s Carrot & Cauliflower Relish

  175      grams         cauliflower florets -- (6oz)
    3                    carrots -- sliced
    1      teaspoon      vegetable oil
      1/2  teaspoon      ground turmeric
    1      teaspoon      chilli powder
    1      teaspoon      sugar
    4      tablespoons   tarragon vinegar
    1      teaspoon      mustard seeds
 
 689 Blanch the cauliflower and carrots in boiling water for 1 minute.
 Refresh in cold water.
 
 Combine all the remaining ingredients and leave to stand for about 1 hour,
 allowing the cauliflower and carrots to absorb the various flavours.
 
 Serve cooled, but not chilled, as this would kill the flavour.
