       1 c  onion
       1 c  catsup
     1/2 c  water
     1/4 c  fresh lemon juice
     1/4 c  red wine vinegar
     1/4 c  worcestershire sauce
       2 t  brown sugar
       1 t  prepared mustard
     1/2 t  ground cumin
     1/2 t  kosher salt
     1/4 t  liquid hot pepper sauce
     1/2 t  black pepper
 combine ingredients in a saucepot, over a medium flame 
 bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 1-2 hours, until reduced by
 about one-third and thickened
 remove from heat, cool 
 cover and chill for 4-96 hours
