       Title: CHILI CON CARNE

       Yield: 5 servings
  
       1 lb Ground beef
       1 c  Onion, chopped
       1 c  Green pepper, chopped
       2 c  Tomatoes, canned
       1 ea Garlic clove, minced
       2 ts Chili powder
       1 ts Salt
       1 ds Cayenne
       1 ds Paprika
       1 cn Kidney beans (medium can)
  
   Pan fry ground beef, onion and green pepper in skillet
   until meat is brown. Drain fat. Add remaining
   ingredients except beans and bring to a boil. Reduce
   heat, cover and simmer until thick (about 1 hour).
   Stir in beans and heat. For dried kidney beans - use
   1/2 lb (for standard serving size). Wash, and cover
   with boiling water. Cook 2 minutes and remove from
   heat. Soak for 1 hour then bring to a boil, reduce
   heat and simmer till tender.
