                             MINUTE STEAK STEW

                         Ingredients:
    1      lb.           round steak or cube steak -- (1 to 2)
      1/4  cup           fat-free beef broth
    1      medium        onion -- chopped
    1      medium        green pepper -- chopped
    6      medium        potatoes -- peeled and chopped
    6      medium        carrots -- cut in bitesize pcs.
    1      cup           frozen peas
    1      can           tomato sauce -- , 8-oz. can
    1      tsp           salt
 
 Directions:
 
 Worchestershire sauce, brown sugar, chili pepper, black pepper, to
 taste, 
 if desired 
 
 Pound steak and cube. Roll in seasoned flour. Brown in shortening with 
 chopped onions & peppers in fat-free beef broth. Place into large dutch 
 oven. Pour in sauce with 2 cans water. Add potatoes, carrots, and peas. 
 Cook slowly until tender, about 1 hour.
