                                Oyster Stew

    1      Pt.           oysters
    1      Pt.           whole milk or half and
                         half
      1/2  Stick         butter
                         salt and pepper to taste
 
 Drain oysters and reserve liquid; set oysters aside.
 Heat liquid from oysters to boil. Remove skim off top of
 liquid. Drop oysters until liquid until oysters curl. In
 another pan, scald milk, then add milk to oyster mixture. Mix
 well. Salt and pepper to taste.
