* Exported from MasterCook * Jambalaya Recipe By : Rival's Crock-Pot Slow Cooker Cuisine; 1995 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fish & Seafood Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cu diced boiled ham 2 medium onions -- coarsely chopped 2 stalks celery -- sliced 1/2 gree pepper -- seeded and diced 1 28 oz can whole tomatoes 1/4 cup tomato paste 3 cloves garlic -- minced 1 tablespoon minced parsley 1/2 teaspoon leaf thyme 2 whole cloves 2 tablespoons salad oil 1 cup raw long-grain convereted rice 1 pound fresh or frozen shrimp -- shelled and cleaned Thoroughly mix all ingredients except shrimp in Crock-Pot. Cover and cook on L ow for 8 to 10 hours. One hour before serving, turn Crock-Pot to High. Stir in uncooked shrimp. Cov er and cook until shrimp are pink and tender.
