       Title: Applesauce Friendship Cake

       1 c  Starter
     1/4 c  Nonfat dry milk
       1 c  Flour
       1 c  Applesauce
     1/2 c  Sugar
     1/2 c  Brown sugar
     1/2 c  Butter or margarine
       1    Egg; beaten
     1/2 ts Salt
       1 ts Cinnamon
     1/2 ts Nutmeg
     1/2 ts Allspice
     1/2 ts Cloves
       2 ts Baking soda
     1/2 c  Nuts; chopped
     1/2 c  Raisins; optional
  
   Recipe by: Patricia Dwigans FWDS07A Preparation Time: 0:45 Mix starter, dry
   milk, flour and applesauce and let set in covered bowl in a warm place.
   Then cream sugars and butter.
    Add egg and mix in salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, baking soda,
   and nuts or raisins.  Beat by hand. Bake at 350 F. for 30 to 45 minutes.
   Test for doneness and allow to cool in the pan.
