     1/2 c  Shortening
   1 1/2 c  Sugar
       1 ts Vanilla
   2 2/3 c  Flour
       3 ts Baking powder
     1/4 ts Salt
       1 c  Pineapple juice
       3    Eggs
       1 ts Orange flavoring
       1 ts Pineapple flavoring

       1 c  Sugar
     1/2 c  Shortening
     1/2 c  Margarine
       1    Egg yolk
     1/2 c  Milk
       1 ts Orange flavoring
       1 ts Pineapple flavoring
            -COOKED PINEAPPLE-
       1 c  Pineapple
     1/4 c  Sugar
       2 tb Cornstarch
      Cream shortening, sugar, then add eggs one at a time. Beat until very
   light and fluffy.  Add flour, baking powder, and salt to creamed mixture
   alternately with juice. Begin with flour and end with flour. Bake at 350~
   for 30-35 minutes.  Makes 2 9-inch layers.
      You Won't Believe It Frosting.  Beat these ingredients at high speed
   with electric mixer for exactly 15 minutes. No more or no less. Now add and
   mix in 2/3 cup of cooked pineapple.  Frost cake.
      Cooked Pineapple.  The original instructions say to put frosting in a
   covered dish in the refrigerator for a month. Then add the cooked mixture.
   No way around my house. If anyone waits a month to use it, let me know how
   it turned out.
