       Title: BIRDS NEST CAKE

       3 c  Flour
       1 ts Soda
       2 c  Sugar
       1 ts Cinamon
     1/2 ts Salt
   1 1/4 c  Cooking oil
       1 ts Vanilla extract
       1 c  Crushed pineapple
       3    Eggs; slightly beaten
     1/4 c  Applesauce
       2 c  Bananas; thinly sliced
       1 c  Nuts; chopped (opt)
  
   Mix flour, soda, sugar, cinnamon and salt into large mixing bowl. Make a
   well in center. Pour remaining ingredients into well. Mix with a spoon
   until well combined. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake in
   preheated 350~ oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done.
   Sprinkle with confectioners sugar while still warm if desired.
