       Yield: 1 servings
       2 c  Brown sugar
       1 c  Water, hot
       1 c  Guiness,warm (or more water)
       2 tb Margarine (soy)
      15 oz Raisins
       1 ts Salt
     1/2 ts Cloves
       1 ts Cinnamon
     1/2 ts Nutmeg
       3 c  Whole wheat pastry flour
       1 ts Baking soda
       1 ts Baking powder
   Bring sugar, water, Guiness, margarine, raisins, salt and spices to a
   boil in a heavy saucepan, simmer for 5 minutes. Allow to cool. Stir
   dry ingredients together. Mix into cooled mixture. Bake in a lined
   (with 2 layers of wax paper) large loaf pan at 350F for 1 1/2 hours.
   Cut in 24 slices. Total calories per slice-185 Fat-1 gram From the
