                               Apple Fritters

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method
 --------  ------------  --------------------------------
    1      cup           matzo meal
    3      large         eggs
      1/2  teaspoon      salt
    3                    peeled apples -- thinly sliced
    2      tablespoons   oil
      1/2  cup           water
 
 Beat all ingredients, mixing well. Add apples. Drop by spoonfuls into 
 hot 
 oil. Fry til golden brown. Serve warm. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
