                           Chocolate Peanut Candy

    1      cup           sugar
    1      package       chocolate pudding mix -- (not instant)
      1/2  cup           evaporated milk
    1      tablespoon    butter
    1      cup           peanuts
 
 Mix ingredients in a 1-1/2 quart saucepan.  Cook and stir to a full all over bo
 il.  Lower heat and keep stirring while mixture boils slowly 3-5 minutes.  (Tak
 e off heat).  Stir in all at once, 1 cup of peanuts.  Beat until candy starts t
 o thicken.  Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper.
